एवं बुद्धेः परं बुद्ध्वा संस्तभ्यात्मानमात्मना ।
जहि शत्रुं महाबाहो कामरूपं दुरासदम् ॥43॥
evaṃ buddheḥ paraṃ buddhvā saṃstabhyātmānamātmanā
jahi śatruṃ mahābāho kāmarūpaṃ durāsadam
evaṃ = thus; buddheḥ = to intelligence; paraṃ = superior; buddhvā = knowing; saṃstabhya = by steadying; ātmānaṃ = the mind; ātmanā = by deliberate intelligence; jahi = conquer; śatruṃ = the enemy; mahābāho = O mighty-armed one; kāmarūpaṃ = in the form of lust; durāsadaṃ = formidable.;
Thus knowing Him, who is superior to intellect, and restraining the self by the Self, slay you, O mighty-armed, the enemy in the form of desire, no doubt hard indeed to conquer.
