sarvāṇīndriyakarmāṇi prāṇakarmāṇi cāpare
ātmasaṃyamayogāgnau juhvati jñānadīpite
sarvāṇi = of all; indriya = the senses; karmāṇi = functions; prāṇakarmāṇi = functions of the life breath; ca = also; apare = others; ātmasaṃyama = of controlling the mind; yoga = the linking process; agnau = in the fire of; juhvati = offer; jñānadīpite = because of the urge for self-realization.;
Others again sacrifice all the functions of the senses and the functions of the breath (vital energy) in the fire of the YOGA of self-restraint, kindled by knowledge.
