तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः ।
गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते ॥28॥
tattvavittu mahābāho guṇakarmavibhāgayoḥ
guṇā guṇeṣu vartanta iti matvā na sajjate
But he — who knows the Truth, O mighty-armed, about the divisions of the qualities and (their) functions, and he who knows that GUNAS -as-senses move amidst GUNAS -as-objects, is not attached.
tattvavit = the knower of the Absolute Truth; tu = but; mahābāho = O mighty-armed one; guṇakarma = of works under material influence; vibhāgayoḥ = differences; guṇāḥ = senses; guṇeṣu = in sense gratification; vartante = are being engaged; iti = thus; matvā = thinking; na = never; sajjate = becomes attached.;
